no brorders only the edges of the border

also if I want to enable a plugin the desktop starts to flicker and you cant move windows

1) It looks like you may be trying to use the Emerald window decorator, which won't work (except on the very latest git snapshots)

2) You need to start compiz with "compiz --replace gconf" if you want to be able to change the settings at all.

gtk-window-decorator if you're using gnome or kde-window-decorator if you're using... you know :P

Or you can build lastest git snapshot and give emerald another try
