Compiz on a live CD

Postby mikedee » Thu May 24, 2007 2:26 pm

I just saw that BeleniX Live CD now includes Compiz 0.5.0, it also includes the nvidia binary drivers so you can get up and running very quickly with a nvidia card.

It is actually OpenSolaris rather than Linux.

You can put the live cd onto a usb thumbdrive so its even easier to take it with you :)

You can download it from here

thnxs for the info,

one question, what does belenix differs with Nexenta/OpenSolaris, which apps does it includes, just asking because Nexenta pretended to delete my entire hard disk , maybe Belenix does better

edit:
:D , I ll just answer myself
* GNU Parted port to OpenSolaris and also added GParted
